ACLS Advanced
Cardiac Life Support
Course Description:
This two day program presents the essentials of Adult Cardiac Life Support.
Students will learn roles and interventions to be utilized by a resuscitation
team when caring for a patient in Cardiopulmonary Arrest. A case study format
will be used where students apply principles of assessment and intervention to
specific situations.
Topics Include:
Pharmacology, Arrhythmias, Defibrillation, Myocardial Infarctions, Special
Resuscitation Situations, ACLS Algorithms and much more.
Audience:
This course is intended for Physicians, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and
Paramedics who utilize Advanced Cardiac Life Support skills in their
professional role. Continuing education credits offered.
Prerequisite:
Participants must hold a valid BLS CPR certification as a provider, knowledge of
Cardiac Dysrhythmias and interpretation, and Emergency pharmacology
interventions is helpful.
Program Fee: $200.00
This cost includes student text book, certification card and processing.
